About Us

Server Centre Limited originated as a web hosting provider based in the UK with customers from all around the world.  Founded by Adam Heavens in 2001, and established in 2002 under the trading name ‘Server Centre Limited’ the company has flourished, growing strongly year on year.  Initially offering Microsoft Windows web hosting, SCL expanded into Linux web hosting and domain name registration through the acquisition of Hosting Unlimited, a UK company that operated server hardware located in the US, in 2006.

Adam Heavens has now been joined by Tim Shackleton, an experienced PRINCE2 qualified project manager, service delivery manager and technical consultant, as the business continues to expand.

Today Server Centre Limited has further increased its offering from virtual hosting, consultancy, IT implementation, IT support, on or off-site server management, Voice over IP, server virtualisation and hosted applications. We aim to work in partnership with businesses to cater to their IT needs, whether that is to support your IT department or be your IT department.

Server Centre Limited was incorporated in England and Wales in October 2002 to reflect the large number of business customers we were taking on, and their desires to trade with an incorporated company.  The company is privately funded and owned.
